At Metsuki we want you to have as much freedom as possible.
Most of all we want to give you the freedom to change how you
look and feel by making it easy and inexpensive to purchase new glasses. We want you to take a risk that you might not otherwise
take. And if you get your choice wrong we want to give you
freedom to change your mind!
With the Metsuki 28 Day Satisfaction Guarantee you can change
your mind and cancel your order, or return your glasses, any
time between placing the order and 28 days after your order
has been delivered to your address in accordance with the conditions set out below.
Returns Policy
Our 28-day returns guarantee means that if for any reason
you are unhappy with your glasses, you can return them to us,
in their original condition [including spectacle case, lens cloth, demo lenses etc], within 28 days of the date you
received the goods. We will then issue a refund. To understand
how your refund is calculated see our Refunds Policy section
below. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
Your Statutory Right to Return within 7 Days
Cooling off Period
Metsuki is delighted that you have shopped with us but
we know that occasionally you may want to return items. All customers
in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase
of an item within 7 working days of the goods being received.
To cancel your purchase within the seven-day cooling-off
period you must notify us during the cooling off period. Please package the relevant item(s) securely and send
it to us in its original packaging so that we receive it as soon as possible.
You are responsible for making sure the item reaches us in
good condition and for the any postage and insurance costs.
We recommend for your protection that you use a recorded delivery
service. You should be aware that when we begin to process
your order any custom made elements of your order, e.g. non
standard lenses, tints etc which are specific to you cannot
be refunded. We will process your refund as soon as we receive
the returned item(s). To understand how your refund is calculated

Our 28 Day Money Back Guarantee
In addition to your statutory rights we have extended the
period during which you can change your mind to 28 days. This
gives you the chance to be really sure that you're happy with
your purchase. The same conditions apply to returns made during
the 28 Day Money Back Guarantee period as apply to returns
made during the statutory cooling off period.
Returning Incorrect, Damaged or Defective Items
Incorrect Item
We guarantee to deliver to you the frame which you chose glazed
to the prescription specification which you've provided to
us. If for any reason we fail to achieve this then return the
item to us and we will replace it with the correct item.
Items damaged in Transit
We guarantee your glasses to arrive in the same condition
as they left our lab. If your glasses arrive damaged in transit
you should return them immediately to us for a full replacement.
Defective or faulty materials or workmanship
We guarantee your glasses to be free from any defect arising
from faulty workmanship or materials for a period
of 1 year from the date of delivery to you. If a fault arises
during this period you should return them to us for repair
or replacement at our discretion and in accordance with your statutory rights.
Refunds Policy
Refunds for items returned within the Statutory 7 day Cooling
off Period and Metsuki's 28 day Returns Guarantee Period.
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase between 7 and
28 days after delivery and there has been no error on our part,
we will refund only the cost of the standard item(s). We will
not refund the cost of customised elements like
lenses or tints, postage or other services provided to you
in connection with your purchase. Refunds will be made using the same
method as you used for making the original purchase. Where you have selected FREE lenses we will deduct a £10.00 handling charge.
Refunds for Damaged, Defective of Incorrect Items
Where you are returning an item because it is damaged, defective
or incorrect as a result of faulty workmanship or materials we will repair or replace the item or refund you
the full value of the item including customised parts and all
postage costs at our discretion and in accordance with your statutory rights. |
